Description
Rectangular cardboard prescription box, covered in a magenta paper with ribbons of textured, light pink paper attached around edges. Box has a removable lid. Printed paper label on lid, blue and white text on white background: "MARLEY PHARMACY" in white text within blue banner; blue text underneath, "K.V. DRISCOLL, Reg. Pharm./PHONE 210/COR. WEST & MEADOW STS./LITCHFIELD, CONN." with lines for prescription information underneath.

Removed along with other items from Murphy's Pharmacy on West Street, Litchfield, after the business closed in 2019.
Comment
Murphy's Pharmacy began as the Marley Pharmacy, opened by William Marley after the left the business partnership of Crutch & Marley located farther up West Street. The pharmacy was purchased by Joseph Murphy sometime between 1948 and 1951.
