Brown leather bound album. Album contains thirty-six pasted in sketches. Sketches are executed in ink, pencil, and crayon on paper. Locations represented in the drawings include West Point, NY; Litchfield, CT; Lake Minnewaska, NY (Kerkonkson, NY); and North Conway, NH. Album is stamped, "H.C. von Post/ 1881" in gold on spine.

The five sketches of Litchfield included in the album include one sketch each of the Sheldon Tavern and the Tallmadge House.
