Description
Square, center bar belt buckle. Brass buckle with iron tongue. Brass has oxidized and iron tongue is corroded but still mostly intact. Small sections of un-oxidized brass visible on the bottom of the buckle.
Provenance
Discovered by donor while gardening, noted as from "old Richards farm," 1761 house on Richards Road in Litchfield.
