Description
Bronze stiletto or pin. Single-piece bronze rod, tapering to a point; oblong head at other end, with grooved lines underneath.

Comment
According to the accession file, the stiletto was found at the Etruscan excavation at Marzabotto (near Bologna). The town existed from the early 5th century BC to the mid-4th century BC. The object was likely brought to Litchfield in the late 1890s, possibly by Miss Starr.
