Description
Sealed glass wine bottle containing white wine produced by Haight Vineyard, Litchfield, Connecticut. Green-colored glass bottle with round base, tapering at top. Rectangular, white paper wine label with red and blue printed text, "VICTORY/IN THE/GULF/A CONNECTICUT CELEBRATION/White Table Wine/Grown, Produced and Bottled by/HAIGHT VINEYARD, INC./LITCHFIELD, CONNECTICUT." Label also includes required statements of sale, government warning, and alcohol content. Tin capsule with red coloring, embossed lettering on top, "HAIGHT." Maker's mark on bottom of bottle.

Produced sometime after the conclusion of the Gulf War (1990-1991).
Comment
Founded by Sherman Haight in 1976, Haight Vineyard was the first established winery in Connecticut. The vineyard's Tudor style winery on top of Chestnut Hill was constructed in 1976. The winery was purchased in 2007 and renamed Haight-Brown Vineyards.
