Description
Four textile fragments, all ecru net with embroidery. A - Net with yellow chain and green leaf embroidery, Chinese green silk on upper edge. B - Same as A, with larger piece of silk. C - Ecru net with panel of embroidery, featuring two yellow unicorns on either side of a yellow and green tree, mounted knights on white horses to one side; green silk at top and bottom. D -Same as C.
Provenance
Possibly remnants of a scarf of shawl. European in origin, listed as possibly being Italian from the 18th century.
