Description
Rectangular linoleum sheet. Cut image in linoleum depicting Colonial style house (center chimney) with multiple outbuildings at the left and right. Tree, fence, and vegetation in foreground. Typed label pasted on reverse, "Linoleum print by Luman P. Kelsey,/North Canton, Conn. Musician,/potter and Supervisor at the Collins-/Ville Axe Company./Catlin-Warren House, Litchfield,/Conn. Done as Xmas card for W.L. and Charlotte W. Warren, circ 1955."
Provenance
Block shows the Thomas Catlin Jr. house on East Chestnut Hill in Litchfield, later owned by William L. Warren, who served as director of the Litchfield Historical Society. Descended in the family to donor.
