Description
Ice cream scoop, brown wood handle with three grooves, metal scoop with mechanism attached. On reverse side of metal scoop bottom, "Travco" printed in raised cursive.
Provenance
Used in Doyle's Ice Cream Parlor. Robert Doyle worked as a pharmacist at Crutch & MacDonald before buying the business in 1961 and continuing as manager, owner, and pharmacist until 1994. At some point during the pharmacy's operation, he opened an ice cream parlor in an adjoining storefront.
