Description
Award dish given to Art Webster by the Litchfield Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Oval pewter dish with shallow well and narrow lip. Engraved along top of well, "Litchfield Mutual Fire Insurance Company." Engraved at center, "With Appreciation to/Arthur B. Webster/Director/1977-2007."
Comment
After selling Arethusa Farm sometime before 1980, Art Webster became the Connecticut agricultural inspector for the Litchfield Mutual Fire Insurance Company for almost 20 years. He later served on the company's board of directors.
