Description
Tan embroidered dress. A-line silhouette, V neckline with net edging. Handkerchief sleeves. Three embroidered bands on center-front bodice. Large V'd collar at back. Double net hem border with raw edge.
Provenance
Belonged to Vivian G. (Brown) Smith (1903-1996), who married Winthrop Hiram Smith (1893-1961) in 1947. In 1948, the couple purchased a farm property in Litchfield, naming it Winvian after their combined names. Their son and daughter-in-law expanded the farm into a boutique hotel.
