Comment
The Litchfield County Hounds was a fox hunting club that held weekly hunts in Litchfield until 2002. The club also maintained a kennel for their hounds, held trail rides at White Memorial, ran hunter pace events, and organized a Hunt Ball. This jacket in particular belonged to the whipper-in, who assisted the huntsman by keeping the pack together and rounding up missing hounds.
