Description
Felt patch from Camp Mohawk, Litchfield, Connecticut. Dark green felt cut into triangular, pennant shape. Applied to one side are multiple shapes cut out of white felt. At left are two baseball bats, crossed in an "x" shape, with a ball underneath; one of the bats has a rounded notch cut from one side (unknown if this was intentional). To the right of the bats is the number "48", with only the outlines of the numbers cut.
Provenance
Purchased in a lot of ephemera from Camp Mohawk; multiple pieces dated 1948, including correspondence from Barbara Buell (see archives, 2019-111-0).
