Description
Bisque head female doll with stuffed white kid leather body, bisque head, and bisque hands. A wig is attached to the dolls head with glue. Eyebrows, lips, and eyelashes painted on. Glass eyes open and close. Body is stuffed with sawdust. Doll is dress in white silk stockings, white cotton drawers, white cotton petticoat, white cotton underdress, and pink silk overdress with white lace collar and cuffs.
Comment
This doll belonged to Hazel W. Perret (1911-2009) as a girl. Mrs. Perret was a long time resident of Litchfield, CT, as well as a long time librarian at the public library and a volunteer at the Litchfield Historical Society.
