Description
Souvenir coaster with image of Litchfield Law School. Round ceramic coaster with white glaze and printed image. In brown lettering, "FIRST LAW SCHOOL IN AMERICA/LITCHFIELD LAW SCHOOL" set around image of a wooden, 1 and 1/2 story, front-gabled structure with a single chimney and multi-pane windows. In smaller brown lettering underneath, "1784" with artist signature, "Cindy Copeland." Thin, circular cork layer adhered to bottom.

Cynthia "Cindy" Copeland is an author and illustrator of books for children and adults. She was hired to complete pen and ink drawings of historic buildings in and around the town of Litchfield, where she was born.
