Description
Souvenir pin produced for the S.S. Chilcotin. Sterling silver pin with straight pin back and locking C clasp. Pin is in the shape of a maple leaf, with enameled front of green, red, and yellow. White banner across leaf with text, "S.S. CHILCOTIN." Engraved on back, "STERLING-BIRKS."
Provenance
Kept in travel case containing souvenirs of Art Webster and his wife, who went on an Alaskan Cruise on the S.S. Chilcotin in 1952. The Chilcotin was operated by the Union Steamship Company between 1947 and 1958, primarily offering summer Alaskan cruises.
