Two-piece G.A.R. encampment pin. Round button-shaped pin at top with color illustration of a Union encampment. From back of pin is suspended a red, white and blue ribbon with fringed button. Silver printing on ribbon: "34TH ANNUAL / STATE / ENCAMPMENT / Dept. Connecticut / G.A.R. / NEW LONDON / MAY 8 & 9, 1901."
