Description
Pair of 14" steel shears manufactured by T. Hinchliff(e), Milton, Connecticut. Tomas Hinchliffe began the Aetna Shear Shop in 1873 in Milton, and produced Sheffield-steel-lined shears until around 1910. The shears are marked "T. HINCHLIFF/MILTON CONN.," without the "e" on Hinchliffe's name.
