Description
A-C: Gold shank buttons for the Litchfield County Hounds. Circular buttons with the letters "LCH" and an image of a running dog or fox. Stamped on reverse "SCOVILL MFG CO./WATERBURY." D-H: Gold shank buttons for the Fairfield County Hounds. Circular buttons with the letters "FCH." No markings on reverse. I-M: Small circular gold shank buttons. No markings on reverse. N: Paper envelope from the Scovill Manufacturing Company. Buttons were donated in the envelop, on tissue paper and cardboard backing. Text on envelope reads "After 5 days return to/SCOVILL MANUFACTURING CO./P.O. BOX 1820/WATERBURY 91, CONN." Scovill's manufacturing mark underneath.
