Description
Three piece G.A.R. reunion medal. Silver metal bar pin at top with "COMRADE" label. Silk ribbon with gold printing: "52ND ANNUAL / RE-UNION / OF THE / 2ND CONN. / HEAVY ARTILLERY / WINSTED, / CONN. / SEPT. 11, 1917." Ribbon gathered into a loop with a suspended button with a black and white photograph of a mustachioed man in a dark suit, the commander of the G.A.R. unit at the time of issue.
