Description
Design for stained glass window executed in watercolor. Design shows a pine tree in front of a setting sun. Palm branches arch above tree with a crown on top and a cross above. Intricate vine design in a rectangular panel below tree with the words, "In loving memory of/ EDWARD W. SEYMOUR/ October 16, 1892" painted on it. Design is bordered by a white strip with black wording all the way around. Watercolor mounted on cardboard. "Design of window erected to Judge E.W. Seymour soon after his death by his friends. "Designed by E.N. Vanderpoel and executed by Heigneke and Bowen, New York" written in ink on cardboard below watercolor.
