Description

Grouping of shell reloading tools and shotgun cleaning tools. B: Powder and shot measure. Turned wood handle attached to metal cylinder. One side of cylinder marked "POWDER/DRAMS" with number 2 3/4 to 5 1/2 arranged vertically in 1/4 increments. Reverse side is marked "SHOT/OZ" with numbers 1 to 2 3/8 in 1/8 increments. Inner metal cylinder is adjustable up or down to allow for measuring different amounts, with small nail heads visible on outer cylinder to mark measurement. C: Loading tube, silver metal, flared at one end. Marked "BRIDGEPORT/G I CO/1149/14." D: Loading tube, brass, flared at one end. Marked "BRIDGEPORT/G I CO/1149/16." E: De-capping or de-priming base. Circular wooden base with small hole through middle. F: Recapping or re-priming tool. Nutcracker style with hinged handles. Circular opening on one handle, raised knob on the other. G: Turned wood knob, forms handle for rod used to press shells. Opening drilled on one side. Split in two pieces. H,I: Turned wood dowels, tapering at one end where a thin metal point is inserted. Used for removing primers from shell casings (with e) or for pressing powder in reloaded shells (with g). J: Gun cleaning attachment. Metal ends, one threaded, with strips of cardboard and metal running between them; cardboard has metal wire teeth facing outwards. In cardboard box labeled "IDEAL GUN CLEANER/LEFEVER ARMS CO./SYRACUSE, N.Y." Instruction sheet included. K: Gun cleaning attachment. Metal ends, one threaded, with wood and metal strips running between them; wood covered in fine metal mesh. L: Gun cleaning attachment, threaded at one end.
