Description
Wooden trade sign with painted and applied wood decoration, made for Crutch & MacDonald Druggists. Painted maroon background with dull gold painted boarder. At center, raised wooden letters spelling "CRUTCH & MAC DONALD/DRUGGISTS" painted in a dull gold. Letters nailed to sign from reverse. Iron hanging strips with short chains attached at each end.
Provenance
This sign likely hung above the West Street entrance to Crutch & MacDonald Pharmacy, located on the corner of West and South Streets across from the Historical Society.
