Description
Homespun hum-hum cotton fabric remnant. Very soft texture. Plain white, all four edges frayed.
Comment
This remnant of fabric was used as lining for a curtain belonging to Col. Benjamin Tallmadge. Presumably the curtain was put up in 1784 when Mrs. Tallmadge (Mary Floyd Tallmadge) was a bride.
