Description

Award platter given to Art Webster by the Litchfield County Agricultural Breeders Association. Round silverplated platter with shallow well and narrow rim. Well is decorated with a thick ring of engraved Rococo-style motifs, including scrolls and acanthus leaves; engraved at center, "L.C.A.B.A./1963." Thin band of impressed floral decoration around outside of rim. Engraved mark on bottom, "ONEIDA/SILVERSMITHS."
