Description
Commemorative glass produced for Litchfield's 300th Anniversary. Etched on one side is the 300th Anniversary logo: image of the First Congregational Church steeple with text, "Litchfield/1719/2019/Connecticut" set inside thin circle. Etched on reverse side is the logo for Litchfield Bancorp: text "Litchfield Bancorp/1850" above three curving lines, with text "EVERY CUSTOMER COUNTS" underneath.
Provenance
Founded in 1850 as The Litchfield Savings Society, the name was changed in 1952 to The Litchfield Savings Bank. Since 1984, it has operated as Litchfield Bancorp.
