Description
Brown glass bottle with white plastic screw-on cap. Back of bottle has two sets of numbers going up each side. A white paper label is taped to the front with black lettering, "CRUTCH & MACDONALD / CORNER DRUG STORE" and blue lettering "COCA COLA SYRUP" with instructions for use.
Provenance
Used by Crutch & MacDonald Corner Drug Store. Robert Doyle worked as a pharmacist at Crutch & MacDonald before buying the business in 1961 and continuing as manager, owner, and pharmacist until 1994. Rita Doyle, Robert's daughter, worked as a pharmacist at Crutch & MacDonald for about five years, and was there as early as 1982.
