Description
Cream on cream, satin brocaded with roses and blue and mauve flowers with dark green leaves, brocaded in a reversed half prop pattern. Two pink stripes on selvage one end small item. Both ends have been turned under and basted.

Donor purchased fragment from Frances Edwards, 1955.

According to acquisition paperwork, this item is believed to be from England made by a Spitalfields (England) fabric maker. This item is believed to be a panel from someone's wedding dress.
