Intramural trophy from the Litchfield School, sometimes referred to as the Sarcka School (after Earle Sarcka, headmaster). Formerly on Goshen Road in Litchfield, the Litchfield School was founded by Charles Brusie in 1904 in Ossining, New York; it was moved to Litchfield in 1922. The boys' school was divided into two organizations, the Buffs and the Blues, for all competitive activities. The trophy was given to donor's father, a former student, by Earle Sarcka.
