Comment
The artist, Helen Cahill, was the daughter of Jane Antoinette Duffie Cahill, who moved to Litchfield with Helen in about 1900. Helen was a librarian at the Wolcott Library and worked at the Litchfield Savings Society. She married Sutherland Beckwith. In 1929 she died suddenly at the Torrington Hospital.
