Description
Bronze figural watch stand. Square base with pierced c-scroll and floral designs surrounded a solid platform. On the platform stand a boy and a girl, each wearing a hat and together holding a large flower. Attached to the flower is a circular frame meant for holding a pocket watch, 1.75" in diameter. The frame is shallow and lined with tan silk. Along the edge is a border of linked s-scrolls with a small metal hook at the top (for securing the watch).

Accession records indicate that the watch stand was owned by Mary Pierce (1780-1863), sister of Sarah Pierce.
