Description
Covered teapot, boat shaped with ear handle. Handle has been mended. Teapot plate is small and oval. It was broken, but has been stapled together. Decorated with gold hands, gold lines on handle and a band with a gold border and red leaf and scroll. Asian inspired design. This is the wedding tea set of Anna Pierce Brace (Mrs. Charles Loring married May 6, 1818) Wedgewood #714, "Bittersweet" It was inherited from Mrs. Pennypacher's mother Mrs. Ruth Loring Whiteman; and by her from Mary Hopkins Loring; and by her from Anna Pierce Brace Loring
