Description
Round bronze medal with smooth edge and raised lip. Front has profile of two men, facing left, identified as Warren and Pepperell. Above images of men, inscrived "Society of Colonial Wars/NIL DESPERANDUM CHRISTO DUCE" Underneath busts inscrived "In Commemoration of the 150th/Anniversary of the Capture June 17, 1745" To the left of busts is a small circle with an image of a Native American man. To right is a small circle with an image of a man in colonial dress. On back of medal is a scene of a colonial town on the water surrounded by boats. Inscribed at top "LUDOVICOBURGUM FUNDATUM ET MUNITUM" underneath scene at bottom "M DCC XX"
