Dress with Slip

A: Dress - the dress is made entirely of chocolate brown, machine made lace; the neck is high and V shaped. The dress has a waistline that falls directly above the hips. The sleeves are long and flair slightly at the wrist. The sleeves are accented with 3 brown buttons coverd in brown lace that are located at the wrist. The dress is fastened with a zipper that extends up the wearer's left side. A belt, also made of brown lace accentuates the waistline. All of the sewing is machine done. B: Slip - made of dark brown silk. The waist and the shape mimick that of the overdress. The neck is V shaped. The neck and shoulder area are formed by two types of colored net; one is flesh-colored and the other is light brown. The slip is fastened with a zipper that goes up the wearer's left side. All of the original sewing appears to have been machine done. There is a place at the hem which was repaired and/or raised which was done by hand
