Description
5 World War I era rifle blanks. Brass, cylindrical shaped body, narrower at neck than at base. Top of blank is is a paper bullet shaped like a cone. Small round copper plug at bottom where powder would be inserted. Brass plate with raised sides - blanks slide onto plate and stand upright.

Found in pocket of either 1973-27-1 or 1973-27-3.
Comment
The blanks are made with a paper bullet designed to feed properly into the chamber of a bolt action Model 1903 Rifle.
