Description
Braided hair is under an oval glass which is in a gold setting and surrounded by diamond and tear shaped pieces of jet, between which are pearls all set in separate gold units with serrated edges. The back has a pin and also a loop so it could be worn as a pendent on a chain or as a brooch. Engraved on back "Charlotte D. Lord/October 30, 1878/ae 88"
