Description
Pewter Christmas ornament. Flat circle with engraved design of an image of Crutch and MacDonald Drug Store building, on the corner of West and South Streets in Litchfield, below image: "Crutch & MacDonald Drug Store." Around outside" "Litchfield, Connecticut/ 1994." The Litchfield Recreation Department commission these ornaments annually from Woodbury Pewter as a fundraiser. The drug store closed in 1994.
Comment
The Recreation Department sold the ornaments in packages of six this year, compiling overstock from previuos years. The project began in 1989, and thus we have a complete set.
