Description
Head and torso image of Eliza Colvocoresses (mother of George P. Colvocoresses.) Woman has dark hair parted down middle and pulled back off of face. Large dark eyes and thin lips. Wearing a blue dress with lace fringe at endge of neckline. Background of image brown. Unsure what image painted on - ivory or canvas? Gold frame with ring at top for hanging. Velvet back with hinged arm to stand frame upright.

Image is identical to a large oil painting currently owned by Harry Colvocoresses, great grandson of Eliza Colvocoresses. The painting hangs in the Colvocoresses home on East Street in Litchfield
