Printed on left side of book "Lux", above book "ET" and to right of book "VERITAS" Printed around edge of medal "YALE UNIVERSITY BI-CENTENNIAL 1701-1901" Purple silk ribbon tied in a bow and mounted to back of medal Ends of ribbon extend beyond medal. Large metal stick pin that extends several inches below medal. Paper label glued to back of medal over ribbon "Made by the/Pryor Novelty Co./473-475/Washington St./Newark, NJ"
