Description
A hand painted porcelain collector's plate, gold rim, rim features a scene which includes 19 of Litchfield's historic public buildings and houses. Housed in original blue gift box with booklet outlining history of each of the buildings depicted. Created by LDA Creations, artist Cheryl Lyon, in 1997, a limited edition of 500 plates, # 1 of 500. signed on back of plate with number and description. Buildings include: TR House and Law School, Wolcott, Jr. Library, Museum building, Collins House and apothecary, Congregational Church, First National Bank of Litchfield, Jail, Corner or Butler House, Tallmadge House, Marsh House, Sheldon's Tavern, Methodist Church, Courthouse, J. Steale Bookshop, Litchfield Insurance, Phineas Minor or Sanctum Club, and the Woodruff House.
