Description
A: Sterling silver medal, Combat Infantryman Badge. Rectangular pin with blue background and raised (bas relief) rifle in silver. The oak leaf wreath attached to pin is also sterling, molded design. B: WWII medal ribbon bar with three sections of silk taffeta ribbon. Right section is for the American Campaign medal (blue color has faded), middle for the Philippine Liberation medal (with one star ribbon device), and left is for the WWII Victory medal (with one star ribbon device); 4 1/4" x 3/8" C: WWII medal ribbon bar with two sections of silk taffeta ribbon. Right section is for the Army Good Conduct medal and the left is for the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign with three ribbon devices (two stars and one oak leaf); 2 3/4" x 1/4" D: WWII medal ribbon bar, Philippine Liberation Medal; 1 1/2" x 3/8" E: WWII medal ribbon bar, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal with one ribbon device (bronze star); 1 3/8" x 3/8" F: Sterling silver medal, Combat Infantryman Badge. Rectangular pin with blue background and raised (bas relief) rifle in silver. The oak leaf wreath attached to pin is also sterling, molded design. G: Sterling silver medal, Expert Infantryman Badge. Rectangular pin with blue background and raised (bas relief) rifle in silver. H: Army marksmanship qualification badge, sharpshooter qualification. Cross-shaped silver medal with two concentric circles at the center. Three rectangular weapon qualification clasps underneath: carbine, pistol, and TD 37-MM (anti-tank weapon; detached).
