Description
Fan with ivory stretchers. Stretchers have pierced foral swags and gilt work with silver inlay. Stretcher support paper fan. White with damask work design across background in gold, green and yellow paint. Painted on both sides. On one side three scenes on fan. Largest scene in center with two small scenes on each side. Center oval has four women and 2 men in park with palace in background - one woman plays guitar while another writes on a board. On the left are two women and a girl reading in a park. On the right woman and child holding a doll sit on a rustic bench. On the other side of the fan one scene in center of two women and a man sitting in a garden.
