Description
Cylindrical case of sterling silver. Center of cylinder turns so that it unscrews from body, moving up through the top. Center them swings out on a hinge to rreveal chamber. Center portion is molded so that there is a good gripping surface. ACcording to Tony Stamatelos, WWII historian, this case carried a CO2 capsule that would have been used to inflate the "Mae West" vest, a life jacket.
