Description
Many pieces of multi-layer sandwich of wallpaper, from the bedroom of the John Collins House, the top layer of paper dates to the 1940-50, a natural color ground with thin green stripe, there is a layer of terracota colored wall liner, a block print of geometric lattice dating to 1877, a layer of newspaper c. 1860, on which there is evidence of original painted design c. 1800, in verdigris and robins egg blue.
