A: Black silk fan, crepe de chine, with polychrome floral decoration. Pierce and ebonized wood sticks with gilt mounts and incised gilt decoration. Frieze of pansies painted across top and signed "Dailliary" B: Pasteboard fan box covered in green paper heavily embossed with gilt to imitate Spanish leather. Label on inside of box "Duvelleroy/17 Passage des Panoramas/Paris"
