Description
A: Bronze medal, round with beveled edge. Front side has left facing bust portrait of George Washington in uniform. "WASHINGTON" inscribed above and "1732 (shield) 1932" below. Back side of medal has figure of Liberty below 12 stars with eagle on pillar behind. She is holding a torch and sword. Inscription across middle "PROCLAIM LIBERTY/THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND" B: Blue and white cardboard box with two tone velvet lining. Inscription on side cover "MEDAL OF AWARD/UNITED STATES/GEORGE WASHINGTON/BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION/WASHINGTON, D.C."
