Round bronze medal with smooth, raised edge. Front side has bust of Frederick Samuel Tallmadge in center. "Frederick Samuel Tallmadge" printed around central image. To left of bust "President/New York Society/Sons of the/Revolution/1884-1904" To the right "The Purchase/of Fraunces Tavern/His Last Official Act" and "His Will Generously/Provided Means/For Payment" Printed underneath bust "1804-1904" Back of medal has a image of Fraunces Tavern, inscribed underneath image "Fraunces Tavern/New York" Printed around edge of medal "here Washington Bade Farewell to His Officers 4 December 1783" Underneath image of building on rim "Became the Owner 29 July 1904" Printed on banner arching over building "Here Sons of the Revolution organized 4 December 1883"
