Description
Oil on canvas. Self portrait of artist. Painting of head and upper torso. Gray/silver hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a brown sports coat with a white shirt and white, red and brown diagonally stripped tie. He has a red pocket square. The background is swirls of blue and grey with a little peach. Ornate gold frame, heavily carved. Sticker on back of frame "The House of Heydenryk/417 E. 76th St./New York, NY 10021"

Ronald (Ronnie) Anderson lived in the Thomas Trowbridge House on West St. with his partner Thomas McBride. McBride ran an antiques show out of a building in the rear of his house. Anderson painted portraits and still lifes. Including portraits of many local Litchfield residents.
