Pieced quilt, overall square in size, cut-out corners. Design of Double Nine Patch on Point on center. Border around center of alternating 7 1/2" wide band of printed calicos - blue on white printed vertical bands print, and other brown and pink on white, also vertical bands print. Center of pieced 9" squares, some composed of 9 1/4" squares, all printed cotton calico in browns, pinks and blues. Designed so that quilt would overhand sides of bed and drape to floor. Two corners have semi-circular cut outs for bed posts. Back of quilt plain linen. No binding. Overall square pattern quilting.

This was found at the TR House on the bed in the border's bedroom. The number 8703 was sewn on the back, since removed and replaced with a new number.
