Description
Mourning hair brooch. Composed of 4 oval shapes of woven hair. Each encased in a brass frame with thin bands of brass running diagonally around body of oval. Ovals stacked on top of each other - top row has one oval, middle row has two ovals, bottom row has one oval. Dangling from bottom oval are three smaller ovals of woven hair. Brass cap on each end. Pin bar and hook on back

Probably owned by Margaret Sargent Fisher and may be the hair of one of her sisters who died young.
