Black leather trunk, wooden base, rectangular shape with dome lid, double leather straps over lid and body, each with regular spaced pattern of brass nails, iron strap bail handles on eash side, iron lock plate and locking device on front, blue paper liner. Belonged to Ben Thompson of Charlestown, MA.
